Refund and Cancellation Policy

Please read the following policy carefully before placing a return, refund, or exchange request. At Janpath Store, we strive to provide premium fabric at the lowest possible prices, and these policies help us maintain that value for all our customers.

1. Exchange Policy

Eligibility: Exchanges are accepted in cases of size issues or if you would like to switch to another product of equal value.

Exchange Charges: All exchanges are chargeable at a flat fee of ₹100 per product.

Request Timeline: Exchange requests must be raised within 5 days of receiving your order.

Product Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all tags intact.

No Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. Only store credit will be provided where applicable.

Exchange Finality: Once an exchange has been completed, the order will no longer be eligible for store credit or any further exchange.

Product Availability: If the requested size or replacement product is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.

2. Return & Refund Policy

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • You received a damaged or defective product.

  • You received the wrong item (style, color, or size different from what was ordered).

Additional Terms:

  • Personal Preference: Returns based on personal preferences (e.g., fabric feel, slight color variation due to screen brightness, or change of mind) are not eligible for a bank refund. They are eligible for store credit only.

  • Timeline: The return request must be raised within 3 days of receiving your product.

  • Sale Items: Refunds will not be issued for items purchased during special discount events or clearance sales.

  • Processing: If approved, refunds will be processed once the returned product is received and passes our quality inspection.

  • COD Charges: Cash on Delivery (COD) handling charges are nonrefundable.

3. Sale Policy (Applicable on Sale Items)

  • No Returns: We do not accept returns for items purchased on sale.

  • Exchanges: Exchanges for sale items are allowed with a ₹200 handling fee per exchange request.

  • Timeline: Requests for exchange on sale items must be raised within 3 days of delivery.

  • Condition: The product must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags intact.

  • Availability: Sale items can only be exchanged for the same product in a different size, subject to availability.

4. Damaged / Wrong Product Received

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Share clear pictures/videos of the product and the outer packaging.

  • Our team will review the claim and arrange for a free exchange or replacement.

5. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Visit our Return/Exchange Portal on the website.

  2. Choose a valid reason for the request.

  3. Attach clear photos showing the issue (damage, defect, or size tag).

  4. Once approved, you can track the status of your return/exchange through the same link.

6. General Conditions

  • Condition: Items returned in used, washed, damaged, or altered condition will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

  • Non-Refundable: All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • Store Credit: Store credits issued for returns/preferences cannot be transferred to bank accounts and must be used for future purchases at the Janpath Store.

  • High RTO Risk: Orders may be verified or cancelled if flagged as high risk for "Return-to-Origin" based on internal data. In such cases, we may request a prepaid payment to proceed.

  • Address Accuracy: Orders with incomplete or incorrect addresses may be held. Dispatch will proceed only after accurate details are confirmed by the customer.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Dispatch: Customers can cancel their order within 24 hours of placement or before the order is dispatched (whichever is earlier) for a full refund.

  • After Dispatch: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may follow the Exchange or Return process once the item is delivered.
